Moist Chocolate Cake

Assalammualaikum,

It's already Thursday..husband is away for a few days...as a today things are pretty buzy in the office with submission of esos...ye la kan sp setia nak take over by PNB so all their staffs buzy nak excersise the esos...

Anyway i baked this cake last Saturday..dapat resepi ni dari blog bisousatoi... i'm impress of how she bakes all the cakes..i wish i can be like her so tak pyh dtg ofis hari-hari..buat biz cake pulak...ya ya berangan la kau.. i c n p the resepi ye...





I double up the recepi..the original mcm kat bwh ni..

1 cup cake flour( i used self raising flour)
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup caster sugar
2 large eggs
125g unsalted butter(i used buttercup je)
1 tsp vanilla essence

Chocolate Paste

1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/2 tsp instant coffee
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup hot water
1/4 cup evaporated/ / fresh milk
Pinch of salt

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 180 degree C. Grease a 5" x 8" loaf pan and line the bottm with baking paper.
2. Chocolate Paste: Combine cocoa powder, instant coffee, sugar, hot water and salt in a medium mixing bowl. Whisk the mixture until the sugar is melted, the add in milk and mix well. Set aside for later use..( u could also double boil till mixture turn glossy bef adding milk)
3. Sift together flour with baking powder for 2 - 3 times. Set aside.
4. In a large mixing bowl, beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add in vanilla essence, and eggs one at a time. Beat until light and fluffy.
5. Fold in sifted flour in batches, alternate with choc paste. Start with flour and end with flour.
6. Bake for 45-50 minutes.

Chocolate Ganache

1. 200 ml whipping cream
2. 250gm chocolate dicincang halus
3. Sedkit garam -
Double boil  whipping jgn sampai mendidih, tambah coklat & sedikit garam..kacat rata..bila semua sudah cair tuangkan ke atas kek..kalau pandai hias..mcm aku tak pandai deco ni..jd mcm kat atas tu..

p/s -husband not around so tak pyh fikir sgt nak mkn apa...
